Lori Pritchard
Lori Pritchard has been an Aboriginal educator for over 14 years and is of Cree-Métis ancestry; born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. During her time as a school-based leader, Lori has been a classroom teacher, as well as an elementary school principal. At the time of the 2008 Summer Institute, she was working with the Calgary Board of Education as the system-wide Senior Education Specialist for Aboriginal Education and in her final term of completing an MEd via the University of New England in Australia. In both her professional and academic capacities, Lori has a strong interest in the understanding, application and impact of perspectives (Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal) in the everyday classroom.
