Narcisse Blood

Narcisse Blood (Ki'naksaapo'p), elder and ceremonialist, is a member of the Kainai First Nation in Southern Alberta. Over the past twenty-five years, Kinaksapo’op, as he is called in Blackfoot, has earned the reputation of being a respected leader, a distinguished scholar, an innovative researcher, an experienced educator, a commanding orator and a humorous storyteller. He has served as Chair for the Mookaakin Cultural and Heritage Foundation of the Blood Tribe [2003] and served on the Blood Tribe Chief and Council.
