Session Two
Debrief the activity.
- After students have evaluated their Web sites, invite them to present
their findings to the class. Encourage students to appreciate that
careful examination of the details of a bogus site is needed if errors
are to be detected. Arrange for students to discuss the following
questions in writing, in pairs or in a whole class discussion:
- When did you discover the bogus Web site?
- What was your reaction?
- What have you learned about using the Internet from this activity?
- Will this activity change the way you will do research in the
future?

Option: Extend to research project.
If students are about to research a topic, ask them to assess at least
four Web sites. Direct students to use at least four credible Web sites
as sources for their research or inquiry project
